Wondering what others thought of The Gracious Few (TGF)

For those that don’t know, when Ed initially left (or was kicked out - only the band knows the true story), Chad squared and Patrick joined forces with the lead vocalist Kevin Martin, and guitarist Sean Hennesy from the band Candlebox.

In my opinion, they made a great band and would love to see a second album based off current circumstances. Not sure you can get Chad Gracey and Chad Taylor in a room together let alone a recording studio for an entire album, so there may need to be at least 1 individual in the group changed.

Very interested to see how this all plays out with the individual members of the band doing something else….or possibly nothing? That would suck.

Are you asking? An article I read (at the risk of starting rumors) said there were “domestic issues” to put it as sensitively as I can. If I find the article I’ll link it.

I only know what I read in the Rolling Stone articles. All pretty vague. Ed certainly never talks about it or is asked about it. Figure must be a requirement to get an interview with him.

I could share plenty, but let's just leave it at TGF was a great project and the music was outstanding. The circumstances as to why the project couldn't go further are just a shame. I have a few outtakes (sorry I can't share) that are tremendous that would've led to a tremendous 2nd album.

So I guess it’s safe to say there won’t be a follow up since Ed is gone again? That stinks to say the least.
