In the 90s I was a HUGE fan of Līve and I even had a Geocities (RIP) fansite for the band called Heropsychodreamers that hosted then hard to find bootlegs and unreleased songs. (Full backstory here)

I finally saw the Līve perform again after a long hiatus at Yaamava in June 2023 and had an absolutely wonderful time and the performance brought back so many memories.

Afterwards I decided to see what the current status of Līve fansites was and only found 2 Facebook groups (I was already a member of the Friends of Live one) and a fansite that seemed nice with some activity but is unfortunately using forum software from 2005 so it's sadly practically unusable in 2023 on a phone which is where at least 50% or more of web traffic is from.

Since I'm not a huge fan of how Facebook groups work and I have been creating websites and forums as a hobby/side business for 20 years I thought why not bring it full circle and create a new Līve fan site?

I asked on the Friends of Live Facebook group if anyone would be interested if I built one and a bunch of people said "Yes!" so I went ahead and bought this domain and started building. It's been a lot of fun creating it and I hope everyone enjoys the site and finds it very useful to connect to other Līve fans. :)

The site is going to have many great new features such as:
As you've probably already realized I've named the site after their song from Mental Jewelry, Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd. I was inspired by the amazing performace they did of it when I saw them at Yaamava. The lyrics are perfect for a fansite and forum:

Talk to me, talk to me now
Hey man, you're all that I have
Hey man, you're all that I have

Me, myself, myself and I
Were born to work and born to die
I have chosen my anthems, of these I am proud
Portraits of a divided crowd

I can't wait to meet and catch up with my fellow Līve fans again!
